Global Mobility and your Career

Global Mobility and your career do not always align. A move to another country, role or project is stressful. Research shows that these “transitions” range in the top ten stress factors in the world. If you are stressed right now, you are not alone. We are with you.

The Global Mobility Coach

Global People Transitions was launched in 2012 by Angie Weinberger, the Global Mobility Coach. Angie believes that you can have a great experience when you move to a new country for work. She assumes that an expat spouse should be able to find work he or she cares about even if he or she does not have a network in the new country yet.

As a lecturer and consultant, Angie insists that we shall improve Global Mobility as a whole. We need to align your needs better with the needs of your employer.

Shall we discuss this further in person?

We want to understand your personal story. We prefer to continue this conversation in person. Thanks to modern technology we can talk on Google Hangout on a short notice. Please book your meeting with Angie here. Make sure you have Google Hangout installed a few minutes before the call. She does not like to wait.

How do you get in touch with us for proposals, guest blogging, and talk requests?

The best way to connect with us is via email or the contact form. Ideally, you already explain your proposal, tell us who you are and show us that you are a real person. PLEASE do not send any attachments as these emails often end up in spam. If you don’t get an answer within 24 hours please follow up. There might have been technical glitches. Angie prioritizes paid work but will occasionally accept pro-bono work if she supports your cause.

Do you want to read the “Club Sandwich” on Mondays?

We send out an email on Mondays about Global Mobility, international careers, global teams, expat life and related topics called the Club Sandwich. As a thank you for subscribing, you will receive an excerpt from “The Global Career Workbook”.

Have we answered all of your initial questions?

We know that websites do not always answer all of our questions when we are in a state of confusion and overwhelm. Please reach out to us if you need more support or if we can help you make sense of your current situation. Book a call with Angie here.
