HireMeExpress 2025 – From Frustrated to Fantastic – FAQ

Q: Can I participate in the program even if I am not an “Expat”?

Anyone looking for a means of earning income is suitable for the program. However, it is geared towards those of you who feel like they have a harder time finding a job in the host country because of a lack of network and visibility. Everyone has different challenges. We noticed that women and people who look different from the “mainstream” often have a harder time in countries like Switzerland.

Q: Do I have to be in Switzerland to participate in HireMeExpress?

You don’t have to live in Switzerland before you can benefit from the value this program provides. If you are planning to move to Switzerland, an ideal time to start this program is about six months before you move. However, you have to ensure that you will have a work permit through your spouse’s employer. Contact us if you are not sure about the permit types.

Q: Do you guarantee that I will get a job during HireMeExpress?

We can guarantee that our method and process are proven. However, you must commit yourself to getting the most out of HireMeExpress and be open to different ways of finding paid work. The job market is very unpredictable, and your qualifications, experience, transferrable skills, and language skills will need to be taken into consideration before making an estimated guess if you can land a job here. Our programs are generally geared towards highly skilled professionals with a minimum level of a Bachelor’s degree.

Q: Can you help me find a study program or course in a European or EFTA country?

This is not the general focus of our work, but we work with several reputable universities and are happy to recommend their international programs to you.

Q: Can my Partner and I both participate in the program?

Usually, it’s better if your partner focuses on their role and if they let you do the work required. However, we can discuss your situation in an exploration meeting (Book through this link).

We can also recommend that your partner join the upcoming Global Rockstars Program, which begins on 5 May 2025.

Q: Do you offer better rates for private individuals than for corporations or other organizations?

No, we offer the same prices for the same coaching program.

However, we offer more payment options for private individuals and prefer packaged bundles for companies. If we offer a bundled package, we assume that the company’s Global Mobility team should budget our costs.

For us, it is less administration if we don’t have to document every six minutes of work for a client. That is why we prefer a bundled approach to pricing. Also, with our market experience and understanding of your situation, we know how many sessions are needed on average to see momentum and change.

We want you to be successful and grow. You must be prepared to work hard and show up with your full energy.

Q: Do I need a work permit for my target country to participate in HireMeExpress?

Yes, it is highly recommended that you only join this course if you have a work permit for a member of the European Union, Switzerland, Iceland, Liechtenstein or Norway (EFTA-States).

Q: How do I get a work permit for the European Union or EFTA states?

If you don’t have a work permit, we recommend a paid consultation with an immigration lawyer of your choice. We can refer you to our trusted lawyers and consultants. We need copies of your passports, current residence permits, and resume to make an assessment. We will need to charge an administrative fee (CHF 50) for working on this process and onboard you as a client before you upload your documentation. You can request a client account on our RockMeApp here: https://rockme.app/request-account.  We will charge the fee upfront. Our hourly rate is CHF 450 + VAT.

Q: Should I speak the local language, or is English sufficient to find paid work in the European Union/ EFTA states?

This is a role-specific question that I can only answer in the context of your role. However, many of our previous coaching clients do not speak the local language but are mainly fluent English speakers. We recommend that you get all your language skills certified and attain a C1 level in English as a minimum requirement.

Q: When I work with your company, will Angela Weinberger be my coach?

In 2025, we can guarantee that. Once all her coaching slots are filled we might hire additional coaches, but you would get a chance to meet your coach before deciding to work with us.

Q: Which other packages do you have?

We have a package called Brandessence and the annual license for the Global Rockstars program. The next one will start on 5 May and 15 September.

Global Rockstars
