Adrian Tuescher is a Partner at KPMG and Head of KPMG Law Switzerland as well as its HR Legal Services Practice. He also serves as KPMG’s Global Employment & Labor Law Lead. With over 15 years of experience, Adrian advises clients across sectors—Banking, Insurance, Pharma, Automotive, IT, Life Sciences, Consulting, and more—on legal, compliance, and strategic issues related to attracting, managing, and retaining talent, especially in restructuring and cross-border contexts.
He is deeply familiar with the challenges facing modern HR and Legal functions, offering practical and strategic solutions in areas such as workforce transformation, dismissal procedures, and executive compensation. Adrian’s multidisciplinary team also supports clients on complex issues spanning employment law, immigration, tax, and social security, especially in international assignments and corporate restructuring.
In his global leadership role, Adrian collaborates with experts across 80+ countries, driving innovation in legal service delivery and HR technology. He is also a KPMG Corporate & M&A Practice Group member, where he routinely leads labor and social due diligence projects and provides counsel on employment aspects of corporate transactions, contractor compliance, and global employment company setups.
An accomplished speaker and author, Adrian is a regular contributor to professional journals and conferences. He co-authored a best-selling book on international assignments and lectures on Employment and immigration Law at Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW). Adrian is fluent in German and English and has a working knowledge of French and Italian.
