Dr. Antonella Santuccione Chadha is a physician, neuroscientist, and global leader committed to closing the critical gap in sex and gender disparities in brain and mental health. Her work spans clinical practice, regulatory science, and biotech innovation, all guided by her mission to redesign research, policy, and healthcare systems to reflect biological and social differences between women and men.
She is the founder of the Women’s Brain Foundation, an independent research organization pioneering sex- and gender-precise approaches to science and medicine. Under her leadership, the foundation has led landmark initiatives, including several publications, books, international forum and policy initiatives globally.
Antonella serves as Vice President of Euresearch, Switzerland’s bridge to European research and innovation funding, and as an expert for Innosuisse, the Swiss Innovation Agency, where she evaluates and mentors health and biotech enterprises. She is the author of numerous scientific publications and has received several international accolades for her groundbreaking work in neuroscience, equity, and innovation.
A trusted advisor to healthtech ventures across Europe and Switzerland, Antonella also shares her vision through her TEDx talks (2018, 2022, 2025), where she champions the brain as the most underserved organ in the female body. Her work continues to drive systemic change and transform data into equity receiving several international accolades and awards.
