John Verrico has lived many lives—and he’ll tell you he still doesn’t know what he wants to be when he grows up. What he does know is how to experience life to the fullest, and how to share those experiences with others.
For over 42 years, John has been a professional storyteller, shaping narratives in media, community, and employee relations for U.S. government agencies. He also served as president of the National Association of Government Communicators.
Today, as founder of Share Your Fire, John is an international speaker, leadership coach, and trainer, delivering workshops on communication, motivation, resilience, and balance. He’s passionate about helping individuals and organizations ignite their inner spark.
John has co-hosted several podcasts, including Technologically Speaking, Positive Talk Radio, and A Show of Values. Currently, he hosts the Cracking the Rich Code podcast and is preparing to launch his own Share Your Fire podcast. Beyond broadcasting, John has contributed to eight international best-selling books on communication and leadership, and most recently added The Art of Connection: 365 Days of Abundance Quotes by Entrepreneurs, Business Owners, and Influencers to his writing credits.
Holding a Master’s in Organizational Leadership and a Bachelor’s in Communication, John blends academic insight with lived experience, humor, and authenticity. His career—and his life—are a masterclass in adaptability, resilience, and storytelling.

The Red Couch Talks feature thought leaders, expats, and entrepreneurs in #globalmobility and beyond. We use a red couch as a backdrop for a deeper conversation, almost like a coaching session. It’s the only furniture we‘ve had since I was eight. It’s been around the block and travelled with me from place to place. It’s almost falling apart, but it’s my happy place to chill.
