Ralph Endres is an experienced insurance professional with a career spanning over three decades in the field of international insurance solutions and employee benefits. As the Managing Partner of expatpartners ag, he specializes in advising international companies on complex insurance matters, particularly for expatriates. His expertise encompasses social security, international medical plans, risk management, and pension solutions.
Ralph’s journey in the insurance industry began after completing his studies in business administration at FH. In 1992, he joined the Swiss Life Network, where he spent 14 years developing his expertise in global employee insurance solutions. During his tenure, he worked closely with international companies in Switzerland and France, providing strategic advice on insurance matters. His role expanded to include sales development in Scandinavian countries, as well as leading teams across Switzerland, the Mediterranean, and Southern Europe, covering markets in France, Spain, and South Africa. In addition, he played a pivotal role in organizing and chairing international conferences and was instrumental in establishing Swiss Life’s Representative Office in Copenhagen.
In 2006, Ralph transitioned to SWICA, where he took on the role of Regional Manager for corporate client business. Over the next five years, he managed a team of 50 professionals across various functions, including sales, actuarial services, care management, and claims processing. His leadership in this role contributed significantly to SWICA’s corporate insurance success.
Since 2011, Ralph has been a Managing Partner at expatpartners ag, a boutique consultancy specializing in insurance solutions for expatriates. Leading a team of six specialists, he provides expert guidance to international companies, ensuring that their globally mobile employees are adequately covered. While the company primarily focuses on supporting expatriates abroad, there is a growing emphasis on assisting businesses with assignments to Switzerland as well.
With his extensive industry experience and deep knowledge of international insurance and employee benefits, Ralph Endres continues to be a trusted advisor to global organizations navigating the complexities of expatriate insurance solutions.
