Susanne Koenig currently wears two distinct leadership hats that she is deeply passionate about. She serves as the co-lead of Powercoders, an IT integration program for refugees and migrants, and is the co-founder of Wild Sense, an initiative dedicated to helping expat parents rebuild and strengthen their relationships with their teenagers.

From Motherboards to Mentorship

Growing up in the isolated, idyllic Bavarian countryside, Susanne earned her pocket money by placing pins on motherboards for her father’s IT business. As a teenager, she swore she would never work in technology or start her own company—but life clearly had other plans.

Driven by curiosity and a love for understanding the big picture, she spent 15 years working as a web developer and freelancer across Luxembourg and Switzerland. However, she eventually found herself craving a deeper human impact. This led her to join Powercoders in 2019, where what began as standard technical IT instruction quickly evolved into a mission to mentor and empower individuals to build self-sustaining careers.

Working closely with diverse cultures eventually shifted Susanne’s focus from professional empowerment to the most fundamental foundation we have: the family unit. This profound insight became the inspiration behind Wild Sense.

Just as her own quiet childhood gave her the strong roots needed to grow and serve others, she now helps international families build a secure, supportive space so that every family member can truly thrive.
