After a beautiful and fun with some of my best friends last night, I met a desperate woman at Bahnhof Stadelhofen. She asked for coins for the shelter, and I usually do not carry cash, but yesterday, I asked her how much she needed and then shook her hand with the 5 CHF coin and said, please go there and be safe tonight. She seemed articulate, not drunk or on drugs, just plain sad. During this time of the year, it’s not jolly for everyone. Honestly, I almost wanted to take her home.
