Our Terms and Conditions for Executive Coaching Clients

Dear Client,
These terms and conditions are integral to your Global People Transitions Ltd coaching agreement. They will be amended periodically and published on our website. To benefit from the long-term effects of our coaching method, we advise you to participate in one of our programs, such as Global Rockstars.
Coaching is not a substitute for therapy. However, it can help with professional and life transitions under certain conditions. Coaching in Switzerland is not covered by health insurance. Hence, you must ask your employer to reimburse you for professional executive coaching or engage us privately if you wish to work with us. Since 2010, our focus has been on corporate clients. However, we also offer our support to private clients.
Our Clients
- We work with private clients directly across the globe.
- They are usually highly educated, globally mobile professionals and scientists.
- They have good intentions and a resourceful approach to people.
We do not
- Engage in any illegal activities. For example, we will immediately stop cooperating with clients who use incorrect data or forge documents, testimonials, or information on the résumé.
- Tolerate discrimination of any kind and do not support bribery, illegal or unethical business practices, aggressive behavior, inappropriate comments, neither bullying, or negative statements based on race, gender, mental and physical abilities, nationality, caste, and sexual orientation.
- Work with multi-level network companies and similar organizations.
Confirmation of Sessions under the License Model (“Global Rockstars”)
We now operate under the RockMeApp license model, and you can schedule your sessions directly on your coaches’ calendars via Calendly. Coaching sessions are usually online meetings. We will confirm the details in your email calendar invitation. Your coaching session is confirmed when you receive an email or an invite for a calendar from us and accept this invitation. We advise that you book one session a week to progress.
Under the license model (Global Rockstars), we agree with you and can guarantee you a fixed time slot on the calendar. You can change the time slot before the session and cancel sessions at any time. However, as coaches get busy, you might not always find a free slot. We advise that you stick to your regular schedule.
The RockMeApp for Confidential and Secure Communication
Client-to-coach and coach-to-client communication only through the RockMeApp. We limit access to our coaches and two administrators only. If you lose your password, please let us know.
All web traffic to and from the RockMeApp goes through an SSL secure layer, ensuring your information is encrypted when traveling from your computer to our server and back. Your information is only visible to our coaches and admins. Our hosting server is located in Switzerland. We will delete all data stored about you on the RockMeApp five years after your final coaching session. We do not usually respond to messages on other channels, such as Linkedin and WhatsApp, unless they involve changing a session or sharing general wisdom. Please do not ask our coaches personal questions on such channels, as we do not deem them safe.
The RockMeApp: Chat or Help Button
If you have an urgent question about a decision or salary negotiation, please request a callback via the RockMeApp Chat or “Help Button” and let us know how to reach you. Coaches normally cannot answer the phone spontaneously.
Calendly for Scheduling
When you accept the online invitation, an appointment is confirmed. You can change your coaching sessions via Calendly at any time: https://calendly.com/angieweinberger
Coaching Material (Handouts, Worksheets, Templates)
For environmental reasons, we will provide coaching material only in electronic format. We advise that you buy our accompanying material, “The Global Rockstar Album,” directly from Amazon. At the discretion of your coach, you will get access to the official resources in the resource section of RockMeApp.
Further Important Conditions of Collaboration
Confidentiality:
All our conversations are confidential. We don’t share any personal information about you unless you give us your consent.
Billing Address:
After the program booking, you will be onboarded to our client system (RockMeApp), and your billing address will be requested. We will then invoice your email ID for a bank transfer. You will be billed at the fee quoted in the offer. Under the license model, we request that payments be made in advance (at least monthly).
Payment Plans:
We offer monthly payment plans under the Global Rockstars License model. Please install an automatic transfer from your bank account, as we do not like sending you payment reminders.
Payment Conditions:
The invoice must be paid within thirty (30) days of receipt. If you requested a payment plan, the end date of the overall payment will be on the invoice. We trust that you pay your monthly payments on time.
Subsequent Private Sessions:
If a client under a corporate program wishes to hire one of Global People Transitions Ltd.’s coaches privately for additional sessions, they can do so starting six months after the end of their program.
Payment Options:
Currently, we only offer payment by bank transfer.
Confidentiality, Data Protection, Use of Email ID
We are committed to confidentiality and data protection. We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Swiss Data Protection Act (DPA) when handling personal data.
This includes mentioning your name as a reference. We request your consent before sending your résumé and other personal documents to third parties.
We will use your email ID for these purposes:
- To follow up on your progress and weekly homework and tasks via the RockMeApp,
- To agree and confirm sessions,
- This is for sending the invoice and other relevant communication.
While the coaching content is confidential, all documentation is solely for quality assurance. Written documentation, pictures of paintings, and the RockMeApp records will be deleted five years after the last coaching session.
Your email ID or any company-related confidential information will not be given to third parties unless you have previously agreed. Therefore, we recommend using a personal email ID if you change jobs. We take data protection seriously. If you have any concerns, please email us immediately.
Nominations
As our client, we request your general consent to be nominated as a speaker and facilitator. If we are asked for recommendations, we would like to include your LinkedIn profile without asking.
Guarantee
We want happy clients. If you are unhappy with the results you are achieving and show us that you’ve done the work required, we will accept that you stop your program and pay back your fees, no questions asked.
Reviews on Google
Nowadays, reviews on Google are crucial for moving our business forward. However, we will not enforce a Google review due to the sensitive nature of our engagement and the fact that we do not want to breach our confidentiality agreement with you. Copyright and Licenses
Copyright law covers writing, training, coaching, and consulting. The work of authors, trainers, coaches, and consultants who work with us always remains their intellectual property. We usually allow clients to use our material if the copyright is mentioned on the slides, handouts, and other materials. If you have any doubts, please contact angela@globalpeopletransitions.com.
Vacation times
Our coaches also deserve offline time, and we grant 25 days of vacation. You won’t be able to book sessions with your coach during this time. These times are usually restricted to two weeks during July/August and December/January. However, some coaches might take one week in the spring or fall. Please discuss this with your coach. You might want to work through a self-study program or worksheets during your coach’s absence.
Written Declaration of Private Clients of Physical and Mental Health
Executive coaching is not therapy. We are licensed to work with physically and mentally healthy clients. Therefore we ask you to confirm that.
- You consider yourself to be mentally and physically healthy, meaning that you have not been diagnosed with a mental disorder or health issue that will significantly impact your ability to perform work. If you have any doubts about your mental health, please discuss them with your coach in the initial call.
- You consent so that coaching sessions can be counted towards professional accreditation.
- You consent to your email ID being given to certification bodies to confirm coaching hours.
- You generally agree that coaching sessions can be recorded for quality assurance. All data will be handled confidentially, and any resulting publications will be anonymized. We will inform you before recording sessions.
- You agree that interviews can be recorded and stored for a maximum of five years for scientific purposes.
- You understand that you can stop the coaching session at any time. In such a case, we will discuss and agree on the status of your payment plan and potential reimbursement for advance payments.
- You understand that we adhere to ethical standards that align with the intercultural and executive coaching and training profession.
- By signing a coaching agreement with us, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
Burnout and Trauma Patients
Suppose you have been suffering from burnout or another traumatic event (such as an accident) and have recently returned to work. In that case, we kindly ask you to request a doctor’s certificate to confirm that you are healthy again and can work with a coach.
RockMeRetreat Insurance
If you have booked the RockMeRetreat and cannot join for health reasons, we cannot reimburse you for your down payment of EUR 500, travel costs, or any fee required by the hotel. Please check if you can take out “seminar insurance” or travel insurance to avoid losing money in such an instance. If we have to cancel the RockMeRetreat less than 30 days before the first day, we will reimburse the down payment, travel costs, and other losses you have incurred that aren’t covered by your insurance.
Code of Ethics
We adhere to ethical standards that align with the coaching and intercultural training profession. As professional coaches and trainers, we acknowledge and agree to honor our moral obligations to our coaching clients, colleagues, and the general public. We pledge to comply with the industry Code of Ethics, treat people with dignity as independent and equal human beings, and model these standards with those we coach.
Force majeure
We are not liable for failure to perform our obligations under the coaching or consulting agreement if such failure results from Acts of God (including but not limited to fire, flood, earthquake, storm, or other natural disasters) or any other incidents outside of our scope (such as terrorism, war, or political upheaval). Claims of compensation or damages are excluded in this case.
Exclusion of liability
According to the law, especially Article 100 of the Swiss Code of Obligations, we are only liable for gross negligence.
Salvatory Clause
Should any part of these Terms and Conditions be invalid, it must be replaced with a corresponding text that is valid and equivalent to the intended meaning. The rest of the Terms and Conditions shall remain unaffected and valid.
Applicable law and Jurisdiction
Swiss Law shall apply, and jurisdiction lies with the courts of Zurich.
Placement Agency: Information to Bundesamt für Statistik
Please inform us when you received a job through one of our connections so we can add this to our statistics for the Bundesamt. Global People Transitions is officially licenced as a placement agent in Switzerland.
However, as many companies do not accept applications through placement agencies, we encourage you to develop your network based on our and your contacts directly. We hope this strategy will help you identify a job in Switzerland.
Collaboration with Recruiters
When we refer you to another recruitment agency, we ask for a fee split of 5% of the annual salary.
